Sear and brown the meat quickly in butter and garlic in a large, hot heavy-bottomed saucepan. It should be brown outside and rare inside.

Remove from the pan and sauté the mushrooms.

Remove from the pan, sauté onion until golden brown for about 5 minutes.

Mix the Bisto Gravy for Beef with boiling water and Bovril, then add.

Gradually add meat stock, tomato, and sour cream. Simmer gently for 5 minutes, add mushrooms and beef, and simmer slowly until sauce and beef are heated through.

Serve with rice and a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of Hinds Spices Paprika.
