1400 g can Rhodes Quality Chopped & Peeled Tomatoes
3 sprigs of thyme
3 cups (750 ml) water
2 Tbsp (30 ml) Bisto Original Gravy Powder
Salt and Hinds Spices Pure Black Pepper for seasoning
Instructions
Heat the oil in a medium-sized pot and fry the onions, garlic and carrots for 3 minutes. Add in the cumin and Hinds Spices Paprika and cook for 2 minutes. Add the beef shin and brown.
Stir in the lentils, chopped tomatoes, thyme and water. Mix the Bisto Original Gravy Powder with a little water and pour into the pot.
Simmer for 2 hours over a low heat. Season with salt and Hinds Spices Pure Black Pepper and serve with crusty bread.
